    Insight

    • Back in 2011, Sky Atlantic was to become Sky’s most sophisticated entertainment brand, challenging the likes of BBC 2 and Channel 4
    • From the outset, we were tasked with creating a brand that was immersive, understated and appealing to the discerning viewing

    Idea

    • Bringing cultures together
    • The best of both worlds. British and American drama had a new home
    • We called it Sky Atlantic to reflect the bridge between the two countries
    • And gave the viewers a nickname. This is entertainment for the ‘tellygentsia’

    Identity

    • Based around the positioning and inspired by the brand name, the branding explores and celebrates the similarities and differences between the UK and the US by splicing elegantly between two iconic locations
