Our rebrand of premium digital advertising company Ocean Outdoor has been featured in Communicate Magazine’s ‘Brand:rebrand’ section this month.

Ocean Outdoor specialises only in large-format digital, iconic landmark and super-premium banner locations and unveiled a brand refresh and new identity by Heavenly on Valentine’s Day this year.

Communicate magazine is a monthly magazine for the UK corporate communications community. Communicate’s focus is on how organisations engage with their stakeholders: the press, investors, employees, regulators, the supply chain and the communities in which they operate. With a monthly circulation of 10,000 it brands itself as ‘the single voice for stakeholder relations.’

Each month the magazine features an organisation that has recently rebranded  and reviews the reason for the change, the process and the new visual identity. The rebrand is also subject to a peer review.

The Ocean Outdoor feature includes interviews with Richard Malton, Ocean’s Marketing Director, Heavenly’s CEO, Richard Sunderland and Commercial Director, Graham Barnetson and Ocean’s  private equity investor, Smedvig Capital’s CEO, Johnny Hewett. The peer review is by Toby Southgate, UK Managing Director of The Brand Union  who describes the new visual identity as ‘clean, crisp and typographically spot on.’
