The Community Channel launches 'Community Champions'

Illustrations by Heavenly’s Creative Director, Martin Lambie-Nairn, are being used in a campaign created by the agency for the Media Trust's Community Channel.
The Channel is ten this year and in celebration of the anniversary, they have launched the Community Champions campaign. The initiative is aimed at recognising and rewarding those people in a community who give something back, going out of their way to help others or inspire positive change.
Community Champions allows an individual to nominate those people who have made a real difference in their communities, but whose stories might never normally be told. Once nominated, the public will be able to vote for the Champion, with the winner appearing in a documentary on the Community Channel.
On and off-air advertising creative, messaging and partnership marketing for the campaign have been created by Heavenly.
