Heavenly in the FT
13 August 2010 Jim Harrison,
Our advertising campaign that has been heralded by Lynda Relph-Knight, Editor of Design Week, as being one that ‘should provoke a long-overdue debate about good branding’ made its first appearance in the FT today.
Featured in the Markets and Managed Funds section of the paper “We think that you should invest more in your brand” is one of a number of adverts that will appear over the forthcoming months. Other thought provoking headlines include “We think branding deserves a better name” and all will be appearing in different sections of the paper.
Heavenly’s Founder and CEO, Richard Sunderland, said of the campaign “All of the messaging used in the campaign comes directly from conversations that we've had with our clients, it is not something that a copywriter has created in isolation. We believe wholeheartedly in the campaign and the message that it delivers. Now more than ever, business leaders should be looking at their brand and the value that it generates for their business. At Heavenly we believe in capturing people’s imagination with refreshing brand strategy and iconic creative work and think that brands should work hard for a living both creatively and financially.
“The campaign will continue in the FT over the forthcoming months and will also appear in other specific industry publications.” said Graham Barnetson, Commercial Director. “We’ve also got some really exciting uses of other forms of media lined up for the autumn which we think should get people thinking and talking much more about branding.”
