Urby launches in Staten Island, giving the New York rental sector a cheeky new lease of life.
Rental provocateur Urby this week launched its first site at Staten Island, New York. With campuses already in development at four other locations on the east coast, the developer has big plans for the brand – and an appetite to inject some much-needed colour into the grey world of private rentals. “Urby is about loving where you live, not having to live where you can”, said a spokesperson for Ironstate, the developer behind the business. And with a line-up of music festivals, food and drink events and great value deals for its resident “Huburbies”, the brand promises to take the sector by storm.
