Richard Sunderland, our Founder and CEO, has written an article for telecoms.com which looks at the importance of a strong brand in a cluttered market, like the telecoms industry and how such brands establish and maintain customer loyalty in a saturated, competitive and innovation-driven market.

Richard’s article ‘The Future’s Personal’ starts with recent off-field events surrounding Joey Barton and uses this to illustrate why we and particularly the telecoms industry is living in the age of the individual. The article looks at the development of Virgin Mobile as the UK’s first MVNO and the development of that sector, where sports fans will account for more than half of its growth.  Richard goes on to discuss how mobile market leaders will need to develop a B2B2C model and how ultimately the most successful ones will be those that develop radical representations in the real world.
