Insight: Imagination Technologies is a British IP company that powers many of the devices the world relies on every day. Following a change in leadership in 2018, Imagination has focused on opportunities in China, alongside the US and Europe. This new-found dynamism catalysed a reboot of the company’s offering and its brand, meaning we needed to bring its market-leading IP into much sharper focus.
Idea: ‘Sharpening your competitive edge’ – We recognised that in today’s competitive marketplace, having an edge is about marginal gains. Because winning is about incremental slivers of proven advantage and differentiation – staying ahead of the tech and leading the pack. Which why we found a way to articulate Imagination’s obsessive focus on meaningful, micro interventions for macro impact.
Initiatives: We crafted a new brand identity for Imagination which is expressed most clearly in its bespoke typographic expression, with a new custom font called ‘IMG Ultra Sharp’ created to elevate and to hero messaging in a bold and confident manner. We also created a brand roll-out campaign across a combination of high-profile media channels, including global business media, targeted out-of-home, digital and social, as well as key industry verticals.
